A great traditional mixer. Tasting notes :sweet raisin, banana with hint of wood. The barreled in bond and other expressions of it are better sippers but Jack and coke will always be an American favorite.

It was really good. I got Apple and caramel balanced with spice. I really enjoyed it. Will have to grab another bottle if I can find one.

I like to have most of my bottles open but one of the few bottles I can’t bear to open yet is Rock Hill Farms. I got this bottle early in this hobby and I worked very hard to obtain it.
It was later when I actually tried it at a bar and I was very unimpressed. Forgettable light nose, thin on the palate and barely any finish. It has more sentimental value than drink ability value to me. Do you guys have any bottles you can’t bear to open for one reason or another?

This is a bottle I will always try to keep stocked on my bar. I know they are single barrels and they vary but I’ve never had a bottle that was bad, if not fantastic.
The proof to flavor ratio is very high on this. I get so much more flavor than ethanol and those pours always rank high for me. What’s your favorite single barrel?

Sazerac Rye. Light, slightly sweet, and simple pepper on the tongue with a short finish. A bourbon lovers Rye. RYE GUYS, you are gonna be eye rolling!
